Be sure your restoration specialist has proper insurance, licensing, certifications and proper training.
Remediation certification training courses are taught by OSHA. Certifications are available from IICRC and PMII for example. Look for these certifications before hiring yoru specialist.
Make sure your specialist is licensed in the State of Florida for each type of contracting they perform. For instance, if your water damage specialist performs plumbing contracting work to make repairs they should be certified by a group like PHCC.
Look for warranties or guarantees on workmanship as well. Also make certain they have workers comp insurance and liability insurance for themselves and their staff.
Is the company you are evaluating doing well in their Facebook reviews? Their Google Reviews? Are they rated with the BBB?
All of these factors combined should be evaluated before you hire your mold remediation and water damage mitigation specialist.
